Delete mapped domain name
-
Hi, I’m having trouble un-mapping a domain name which I mapped by accident. The domain I need to remove is fridaysforfuture.org and I need to switch it to a domain registered with Namecheap, fridaysforfuturesuffolk.org. Please help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

if you click on the link above it sends you to the main Fridays For Future website instead of my one but I think this link should work

Howdy –
There’s 2 domains mapped to this account.
1. fridaysforfuture.org
2. fridaysforfuturesuffolk.orgBoth are connected to the same, free, site: fridaysforfuturesuffolk.home.blog
I’m not clear on which domain mapping needs to be removed. Are both of these to load the same site?

No problem, we’ve removed it from our end. Also, if you do own both domains, note you’re welcome to map them both. You’d just need to choose one as primary.
Cheers!

Hi, I don’t own fridaysforfuture.org, I mapped it by mistake when I was trying to type fridaysforfuturesuffolk.org. I have tried using both fridaysforfuturesuffolk.org and fridaysforfuturesuffolk.home.blog as my primary domain now that the accidental one has been removed but it still redirects me towards the wrong domain when I type the right one into my browser!

https://fridaysforfuturesuffolk.home.blog/ seems to be working fine for me.
Try clearing your browser’s cache: https://www.refreshyourcache.com/en/home/

Hi there,
fridaysforfuturesuffolk.home.blog cannot be removed as this your site’s address. Since you’re using fridaysforfuturesuffolk.org as your primary domain the .home.blog address is hidden and all traffic to your site goes through your domain.
