Delete me from this blog please

  I started a blog, https://skagitvalleybodyfree.wordpress.com/ and transferred the Admin role to another user. I no longer wish to be an admin on this blog. How can I remove myself from this blog? Thank you.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there, If you only added another Admin user, that won’t remove you from the site. You need to transfer ownership of the site to another WordPressdotcom user following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

  Once you have done so, that should automatically remove you as the site owner and admin on the site.

  Let us know how that goes or if you need more help.

  Oops, actually it did not work. When I clicked the link sent to my e-mail to confirm, I got an error message that said: “Your attempt to transfer a blog failed – please contact support.”

  Does the person who you are trying to transfer the site ownership to have a WordPressdotcom account? If so, they should check whether their email address in their account settings https://wordpress.com/me/account is up to date.

  Who would you like to transfer ownership of the site to? I’ll make sure I can’t see any issues on our end.

  (I believe I made a mistake in my first post regarding the Yogascent blog — I still need to remain admin of that one!)
