Delete Notifications

  I’m looking for a way to delete notifications in the notification section of WordPress. I know this isn’t the first time someone has asked about the ability to delete notifications. In previous discussions, staff employees of WordPress make a comparison with social media platforms. You often can’t delete notifications on these platforms. I don’t think that comparison works, because within WordPress the notifications are private, like: ‘Happy Anniversary with WordPress.com!’ I have multiple of these friendly notifications, (three year anniversary, four year anniversary, etc.) which I really do want to delete. Is there an option to have them deleted? Please help. Gr. Jeroen

  At this time, we do not have a way to delete notifications.

  Is it already on the backlog? I see people requesting for this feature for years now.

  Hi there!

  We aren’t really working on this feature at the moment. It might happen in the future, but as far as I can tell, it’s not in the immediate pipeline.
