Delete old account

  I have a 5 year old account that I have not accessed and can not recover because I no longer have access to my email associated with this account. I have tried for years to get in contact with WordPress. I need this account deleted and will be contacting the Secretary of State to have this content removed legally.

  This is the first time since you opened this account 5 years ago, you contact wordpress.com.
  Wordpress.com doesn’t delete or close accounts on demand, you have to proof your ownership. To restore access to the account you want to close, you find several ways at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/.

  I haven’t utilized that account since 2013. You are posting my face and misleading content and will not let me delete it. The methods you suggest and illusory not practical and then you hide your contact information so users can’t even resolve this type of problem. This is bad business and shameful.

  wordpress.com only show content you inserted yourself in your site. If you bought a paid plan, you’re entitled to live chat and email support. If not, this public forum is your support.
  Wordpress.com doesn’t close accounts or delete content from sites, on demand. Only the owner is able to do so. That’s why you have to proof you are the owner oneway or another.
