Delete redundant user?
-
Hi, I’m helping my wife with her blog – http://nikkirixon.wordpress.com. We have an issue whereby there are 2 users in her dashboard area. 1 is for an old blog that we set up to help her dying sister, which has subsequently been deleted (since her sister passed away 3 years ago). The problem is we cannot delete that user. We get the following message when we try:
You have specified these users for removal:
ID #7997390: jackierixonfundraising The current user will not be removed.
There are no valid users selected for removal. Please can you help us delete the jackierixonfundraising user? It seems to be that Nikki’s new gravatar is not being used either – only the one from the jackierixonfundraising user. Once the account has been deleted I assume that her correct gravatar will display from the nikkirixon account? Many thanks.
Michael.

Hi there,
This thread has been flagged for Staff assistance. Please be patient while waiting. -
That user cannot be removed, as she is listed as the owner of the blog.
You’ll need to transfer ownership to another user first: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
