WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.Note: It takes about 10 business days for the refund to be received.
Canceling upgrades
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. 2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
4. When was the upgrade purchased?

I would be happy to assist you in canceling your purchase. However, the upgrade that was purchased is not associated with the account you contacted us from. To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into canceling the subscription purchase. What is the domain URL?

Can I clarify that by account/username that you mean it was purchased by a different user within the team with access to the site admin, or does was it purchased by an account related to a different domain? All the team members have now left, so is there a way as an admin to take control of the purchases made?

Correct. If you have access to their account, that is the only way you can stop payment. I can also email that user to see if they respond.

Thanks I managed to delete that site.
Now can’t find way to remove ‘getting more familiar with my blog’ from top of my blogs at dis and dat site. Would appreciate any advice.Cheers Herman

Ah, I see them. That is the category that you chose for each post.
You can view your category page here: https://disanddatweb.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category
If you uncategorized the posts, it would remove the categories from each post.
Are you wanting to keep the categories?

I see that you were able to delete one of the categories and the only left are the posts that are under the hello category. If you remove that category, you should be set.
