  Hi there,

  It’s not required to type in a password to delete a site on WordPress.com. What site are you trying to delete?

  To delete a site go to My Sites ->Switch Site, and select the site in question. Click on Settings. The delete option is at the bottom of the page. As part of the process you will be asked to type in the ADDRESS of the site you’re deleting, but not your password.
