Delete via FTP

Hello, I’m not an WordPress-literate developer and need support with a client’s site.
TL;DR: would deleting a site’s files via FTP erase all records, including domain settings?
The issue is that I have a domain integrated on the WP site which I desperately need to erase as I’m integrating it with a site hosted elsewhere. I am currently unable to login to the Admin Dashboard and do so, I keep getting a Phishing notice and I’m unable to make the changes. I am being redirected to another site too. My question is if I can delete the site’s files from FTP and solve this issue? The folders are wp-admin, wp-content, wp-includes.
