Delete WordPress.com presence from other user

    Hi there,

    my problem is similar to this:

    A clients website (or call it blog if you want to…) was made on WordPress.com long time ago by a developer/company that is not reachable anymore. Tried everything.

    But the answer given in the thread above doesn’t help and the thread itself is closed unfortunately. All possibilities to get such problems solved are assumed to the ownership of the associated account. If the account can’t be accessed “you are on a dead end”. Seriously, that’s it? But what about legitimate interest, trademark ownership and related topics?

    In my case the concerned website was made for a non-profit company years ago. Meanwhile there is another up-to-date website under a different self-hosted domain while this old Google indexed website is hangin arround and spreading outdated incorrect informations.

    So what can be done to resolve this problem?
    PM is very welcome because I can’t publish client’s data here.

    Actually this is not a problem to be discussed in a forum. It is a support task but there is no other possibility than this.
