deleted account / domain name

    I am trying to retrieve an account I deleted. Is it possible? If not, I have a question… when I upgrade, will I be able to choose a name for my domain other than just dropping the ‘WordPress’ from the address and adding a suffix?

    Hi there,

    It’s not possible to delete WordPress.com username accounts.

    If you’ve deleted a WordPress.com site, i.e. a *.wordpress.com address, that is permanent, and that address cannot be used again.

    If you purchase a plan, you can use the free domain in the plan to register any domain that is available. It does not have to match the free address of your site at all. The free address will be visible in your dashboard, but visitors to your site will only see the custom domain you register.
