Deleted Domain

    I had deleted my domain and account. my domain was “therottingelf.com” am i able to wait until the domain becomes available for me to purchase it again?

    Hi there!

    When you cancel a domain, it does not become available for registration again. The domain remains parked until its validity and then goes through the lengthy expiration process, which you can learn more about here.

    If you’d like to use the domain, even with another registrar, the best option is to restore it with us. I see that you closed your WordPress.com account that owned the domain. Please reply to the account closure email you received, and we can restore the account for you.

    Once you’re logged into the other account, please reply here (or create a new thread from that account), an we’ll send you the link to pay for the domain registration only.

    After you’ve paid, we’ll restore the domain to your WordPress.com account, and you can use it anywhere you’d like.
