Deleted pictures from photo gallery

  I deleted picture from my photo gallery that were already in my blog posts, now they have dissapeared from my published posts but can still be found under the post in edit format. Is there an easy way to retrieve them and have them appear back in my posts?

  Are the images in your Media Library?

  I deleted them from my media library thinking I didn’t need them anymore once they were in a post. If you view my blog you can’t see them, but when I go into a post to edit it, they are still there???

  That’s because you haven’t logged out and cleared your browser cache and cookies. The bottom line is that if the images are not in your Media Library then they aren’t on wordpress.com servers. You will have to go to Google’s image cahe and capture the images there and then upload them again.
