  Hello, yesterday I transferred my domain to another host, I was in the middle of transferring all of my content and blog posts to my new website and my laptop died. When I turned it back on I could no longer access my WordPress site and all my content seems to be gone. Is there any way I can retrieve this? there was 20 blog posts written that seem to have just disappeared now.

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com is not the same thing as the WordPress software. We’re a hosting provider, and that domain has never been connected to any site hosted with us on WordPress.com, so we’re not able to help you here, as we have never had any data for your site stored on our servers.

  You’ll need to contact the two hosting providers you’re migrating your site between for help with this, as only they have access to your data.
