  This is a long shot but I’m looking to recover a deleted site. The payment lapsed and the hosting platform deleted it. Having a hard time locating backups. Is there any way to find this site and restore it?

  Hey @gonderlab, if it were hosted with us we might have something; same if you were using paid backups through Jetpack. But from what you’re saying, it wasn’t on our services.

  You might ask the hosting company what kind of files their backups make, and look on your computer for that.

  Otherwise, you may need to rebuild. I’d recommend checking https://web.archive.org to see if they have any cached snapshots of the site.
