Deleted site but it still shows up

    I sold my name to another company now I need to delete my domain – which I did. But it still shows up on searches and says the site is parked. I need it to completely tow up at all

    Site: (email visible only to moderators and staff).
    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    It looks like you’ve canceled the domain name, meaning you no longer own it.

    Please let us know which of these options works best for you:

    Wait: You can wait for the domain to be returned to the public market, which can take up to 3 months after the domain’s original 1-year term runs its course.

    Restore the Domain: Since the domain was not refunded, we can restore the domain to your account from where you can transfer it a different WordPress.com account now and transfer it to another registrar 60 days later (the 60-day limit is imposed on all domain registrars by ICANN, the organization which oversees all domain registrars).
