deleted website

  im super confused because i deleted my whole website but when i want to use the domain name i used to have i cant because it is still hooked up to wordpress and says the site is ‘parked’. i deleted it so i dont understand what is possibly ‘parked’

  Hi there,

  Are you speaking of the domain, nenahslifecoaching.com?

  Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future.

  This was all explained on the screen where you had to confirm the domain cancellation – there was a box you had to check saying you understand this before we would have let you finish the process.

  We might be able to still restore the domain to your account, then you can transfer it somewhere else if you don’t want to use it here. But do to that we’ll also need to undelete your WordPress.com site, as you won’t be able to manage the domain if it’s not attached to a site in your account.

  Please confirm if we should proceed with that.
