deleted wordpress site, but domain mapping is not.

  I had 2 sites – one as a test, and one that will be live which are jillwaseyportraits.wordpress.com and jillwaseystudios.wordpress.com, respectively. I deleted jillwaseyportraits.wordpress.com well over 24 hours ago and I used to have an external 123-Reg URL mapped to this site. Now I want to map my external URL (jillwaseystudios.com) to jillwaseystudios.wordpress.com but WordPress tells me that it is mapped to jillwaseyportraits!! How do I undo this mapping so I can have it map to the live site, and how do I make jillwaseystudios.com appear as the URL to the user? I have read all documentation and it is not helping! Any help would be much appreciated. Otherwise I will build my site somewhere else as my business cards have http://www.jillwaseystudios.com.
