  Hi. I want to delete my original wordpress.com site. I have started a second one and I want to make sure if I delete the first, it won’t also delete my 2nd one. It seems that my 2nd defaults to the first address as the ‘author’, so I’m checking the 2nd site won’t be deleted along with the first.

  As long as you are logged in to the correct site you can delete it and still keep one or more other sites under your account. But it is probably easier just to set the site to private. A surprising number of people regret deleting sites or belatedly discover they can never use the deleted address again.
