Deleting a blog with domain

  I created a blog, purchased a domain for it. Now I want to delete the blog, not just make it private. How do I proceed? I already cancelled the domain.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Miriam,

  I see that you purchased two domains, and both are still active (not canceled):

  • miriamarvola.com

  • thingsallpretty.com

  Which one do you want to cancel? I can help you with canceling the domain, and once that’s done you can delete the blog permanently (under Tools > Delete Site in the blog’s classic dashboard).

  Please keep in mind that canceling a domain means you give up ownership of that domain name. The domain name may not be released immediately, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to register it again in the future. Only cancel a domain if you’re sure you no longer want to use it here or anywhere else.

  Hi Miriam,

  I just cancelled both domain for you, as you requested. Since you registered both of those domains recently, I also refunded those domain purchases for you.

  If you’d like to delete those blogs, you can do that under Tools > Delete Site in the blogs’ classic dashboards. We have a guide for deleting a site with more details about that.

  Please keep in mind that deleting a blog is permanent and can’t be undone, and no one (including you) will be able to use those blogs’ WordPress.com addresses in the future. Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can do anything more to help with that!
