Deleting A Page

  I want to delete the free account I had created on WordPress.com, but need to know if this will impact a new domain I purchased through Bluehost? I don’t understand wordpress.org versus .com and want to make sure my newly purchased Bluehost domain isn’t going to be somehow removed.

  Hi there, if you purchased both your domain registration and WordPress web site hosting through Bluehost, it will not be affected by deleting your WordPressdotcom website. https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  If you are hesitant about deleting the site, you can also make your WordPressdotcom website Private so no one but you can see it. Here’s how you can do that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  If you are using the jetpack plugin on your Bluehost WordPress site, you will still need a WordPressdotcom account to connect it here. More on that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/jetpack-add-ons/
