Deleting account

  I want to delete my account so I don’t have to pay the 17/ per yr anymore. What do I do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Go down in the Upgrade section (can’t remember the exact page) and make sure that the auto-renew is set to off for your domain registration and domain mapping – then when the upgrade runs out it just won’t renew and your blog will go back to my-old-blg.wordpress.com – no need to delete the blog or the content – then the blog and content is waiting for whatever you want to do in the future.

  DON’T delete the blog – then the name is gone forever.

  PS – if you have problems contact the staff and they can make sure that your Upgrades don’t renew.
