Deleting blog

  I paid for this domain, but now I want to delete this blog entirely. And have it not show up in google. I’m having a hard time making this happen.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there – would you like to hang onto your domain sportofleadership.org? When you buy a custom domain, the reason you need to maintain its connection to a WordPress.com site is so you can still log in to manage the domain somewhere.

  If you no longer want the domain, I can remove it from your account so you can delete the site, but you may not be able to ever register the domain again.

  Another option would be to keep the domain but update the name servers and point it to a different site.

  Change a Domain’s Name Servers

  Since you’ve set the site to private, it should be removed from the Google index automatically, the next time its indexing robot visits your site.

  Hi Kathryn, thanks for the reply. I would like to delete the site. I don’t care about not being able to register the domain again.

  Could you go ahead and remove it from my account and let me know the specific next steps to delete the site?

  I’ve removed the domain upgrade from your site. You should now be able to delete the site under Tools > Delete Blog:

  https://sportofleadership.wordpress.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=delete-blog

  Select an option from the drop-down menu and follow the prompts.
