hi there,
You can edit or delete your categories by going to:
Posts → Categories → Click the three dots on the right of any category
There you will find the delete option. Here is a guide, in the Table of Contents, select “Edit or Delete Categories”:

Hi there,
You can edit your categories by going to
My Sites > Posts > Categories. You can find more information here:https://wordpress.com/support/posts/categories/#edit-or-delete-categories

And also for my blogs page where blogs are displayed. I created two blog pages but I wanna use one as the blog page where posts are displayed. But the one I wanna use looks different from the regular blogs page
Not sure if this makes sense. I would have to send a screenshot for you to know what I’m talking about. but I’m not able to send screenshots through here

Hi there,
The page at https://imanissm.wordpress.com/blog/ is what you currently have set as your site’s posts page in the Customizer. In other words, that page explains your posts, and only your posts, in other words, you can’t add your own content to that page. That’s also the one you have linked in your menu at the moment.
That page is styled automatically, according to your theme.
https://wordpress.com/en/support/pages/front-page/#step-3-create-a-blog-page-optional
The page at https://imanissm.wordpress.com/blogs/ is a regular static page, and on that page you’ve added the Blog Posts Block. That block gives you some options, e.g. you can have it display the posts in multiple columns, and you can control whether they show featured images, excerpts vs full text, categories and tags, etc.
https://wordpress.com/en/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/blog-posts-block/
Unlike the default posts page, you can also add static text to that page, which will then display above or below the posts list, depending on where you add the blocks containing that content.
If you want to use the page at https://imanissm.wordpress.com/blogs/, edit your menu in the Customizer, remove the page titled “Blogs” that’s added to the menu at the moment, and add in the page titled “Blog” instead.

Alright, in that case, you’ll want to follow the steps @kokkieh shared above. If you need some more help, have a look at this page:

Ok
I switched back but now it’s not showing any posts. And how do i.get to the block posts editor I don’t see that
-
And how do I remove the blogs page from menu in customizer or do I do it in the pages menu
-
To set us a customized menu so you can fully control it, please follow the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/menus/
As for your posts, you currently have them set to appear on your posts page at https://imanissm.wordpress.com/blogs/
-
Hm, I’m not sure what you mean, and maybe that’s the problem.
Would you please elaborate on what you tried to do and what problem you ran into?

I currently have 2 blog pages for my posts. But I wanna delete one of them and use the other one
I tried following the steps that @kokkieh provided above. He told me to delete the blogs page which is the current one that i have for my blogs. But I’m asking how would I delete that page do I remove the blogs page from menu in customizer or do I do it in the pages menu
And how do I get to the block posts editor I don’t see that option
-
You can only have 1 posts page, so:
1. Make sure you have it set as desired: https://wordpress.com/support/pages/front-page/
2. Then, you’ll be able to delete the undesired page.
As for the menu, you can fully create your own menu so you can customize exactly what’s in it by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/menus/
-
Let’s take a few steps back, so we’re all on the same page :)
On the one hand, you have the page called Blog, and that page is currently set to display your recent posts. On the other hand, you created the page called Blogs, where you would like to show your posts in a more controlled way. That page can be edited from here:
https://wordpress.com/page/imanissm.wordpress.com/5.You’ll want to add the Blog Posts block there, as explained here:
https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/blog-posts-block/.
With that block, you can decide which posts are displayed on the page and how.
Now, to use that page in your menu, you’ll go to Appearance → Customize → Menus. There you will need to find the page called Blog and remove it from the menu. After that, you will want to add the new Blogs page:

Hi there,
This is difficult to explain in words, so I recorded a quick video to show you how to delete the current “blog” page, which is blank, and replace it with the “posts page” instead.
You can view the at this link: https://d.pr/v/X30uEZ
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Ok thanks
But how do i only show an excerpt of my blog posts instead of full text. Usually it will say read more or continue reading or something
-
You can choose that from the Blog Post block settings:
