Deleting category without deleting blogpost

I´m a newbie to this, so gonna need to be spoonfed…;) Can´t seem to delete a category – without deleting blogpost (which somehow automatically connected).

Post categories can be deleted in Posts>Categories. Posts filed under that category will automatically be re-filed under the category you’ve set as your default in Settings>Writing. The default category cannot be deleted. If the category you wish to delete is your current default, you must first set another one as your default.

But I’m seeing that you’ve got a different problem. You’ve added the Categories widget several times, each one with a different title. The title of the Categories widget is just a title, not a category. The widget displays all the categories assigned to published posts, so you only add it once. Actual categories are assigned to your posts in the post editor, not the widget:
