Deleting Defunct Site

Over 6 years ago, I created this WordPress site: https://montaukprojectmusic.wordpress.com/contact/
At the time, I published my Gmail address, which I still use today as my personal email address.
I am now working in music supervision for film & TV (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm5400756/?ref_=nv_sr_1) and many artists search the web for my contact info to pitch me music. Somehow this WordPress site that was created ages ago now shows up on the first page when Googling my contact info.
I have tried and cannot figure out which email address was used to set up this account – so I’m not able to delete this page.
This has become an issue for my own personal privacy. I am inundated with emails from independent artists pitching me music because of this. Is it possible to have a defunct site taken down?

Thanks Darnell! I tried to fill that out earlier, however I do not have any of the three Proof of Ownership options. I never purchased any upgrades, I do not have an activation URL (I do not have access to the email address that was used to set up this account), and I did not set up two-factor authentication. I was unable to submit the form without any of those items. Please advise.

If you aren’t able to provide an email from the email address with which the blog was registered, a PayPal transaction ID, or the original activation link, I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you recover the account.
We have a strict policy in place to protect our users from third parties who might try to use our support system to gain access to other users’ accounts.
However, if there’s personal information on your blog, I would be happy to set it to private for you so search engines and users can’t access it – just let me know.

My one concern is that if you go to Google and type in “Whitney Pilzer contact” – this site still comes up on the search, with my email address in plain sight. When you click the link, you’re directed to a notice saying that the site is protected – however my email address is still displayed on Google when you search.
Is there any way to take down the site entirely, or at least remove my email address from the “contact” page so that it doesn’t show up on Google?

Now that the site is private, it’ll eventually drop from search engines, but it’s up to Google to decide when and how to include/remove this page from search results, WordPress.com doesn’t have any control over that. For more information you can read our FAQ about search engines here:
