Deleting documents that still show up in Google search

I have deleted documents in my media library, but they are still showing up when I search them in google, even though they are not linked to my page, nor in my media library. Would love to get these removed from google searches. Help!

It’s a PDF document that had been uploaded into my media library and linked on one of my blog pages.

It’s a pdf of an older version of my resume. When you type in “Laura Astman Baker” on Google, it’s one of the first two hits that comes up.

I’m getting a “404 file not found” message on both of those that come up with that google search. That would indicate that they are deleted on our end.
Your browser may be looking at a cached version of the page. You can try either clearing your cache, using a different browser, or loading the page and then holding the shift key while you click reload/refresh.
