Deleting followers

I am in the process of revamping my blog and completely changing the content, so while I am in the process of doing so, I do not want my followers to see the new posts and content changes. How do I remove my followers from my page?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot either block or delete subscribers from any public blog. If you make the blog private first and return to this thread and type modlook into the tags in the sidebar here Staff can remove them for you.

To change blog visibility to Private go to Dashboard > Settings > Reading scroll to Site Visibility and choose option 3

    Hi Erika,

I’d be happy to delete all your followers, but please note that I cannot add them back for you. They would have to add themselves back. If you are okay with this, please let me know and I’d be happy to do that for you.

However, if you keep your site private while you make these changes your followers would not be emailed if you publish new posts, and they obviously wouldn’t be able to see any changes to your site unless you personally invite them.

    Hi Grace,

Thank you – I would appreciate it if you could delete all the followers. I understand they will have to add themselves back – that is not a problem.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Erika,

They have been removed as requested!

    Good luck with the changes!
