deleting media

  dear Mr or Mrs

  I imported my posts from blogspot and now I feel like wanting to make my blog a brand new blog so I deleted the posts I imported. But there is one problem, the photos from the deleted posts are not gone and so I have 1000+ photos waiting to be deleted, while I can only delete 20 photos per time. So could you please tell me how to permanently delete the photos? or I would be very grateful if you can help me deleting them.
