deleting my credit card

  Hello,
  I signed up for a wordpress.com site last week and have decided that I no longer want one. I’m afraid my credit card will be automatically billed $99 next week if I do not delete it and state that I want to cancel my account. So far everywhere I’ve looked it says you cannot delete your page, just leave it inactive. I want to be assured I won’t get charged. How can I access my credit card info so I can delete it?
