Deleting my old WordPress.com site

  Hello, I know HOW to delete my old WP.com site, but as the search engines will still pick it up for a while what will people actually SEE? just a blank notice saying site removed by author? I was hoping to add a redirect but it doesnt look possible? Many thanks for any help, Gaye

  If the site is deleted, visitors from search engines will simply a notice that the author has deleted the site.

  For a redirect, don’t delete the site, and instead add a Site Redirect upgrade: https://wordpress.com/support/site-redirect/
