Deleting my site

  hello. ive transferred my website to another company and want to delete my wordpress site. Doing that will not affect my domain name, which has been transferred to the other site, will it?

  Hi –

  No, there wouldn’t be any harm to the domain or the new site.

  My suggestion would be to just hide the old, free site rather than deleting it. Deletion is permanent. So, if there’s any chance you want to use it again, or get information from it, or redirect traffic from it to the new site, you need it be active.
