Deleting old site from old account I don't have email access for
-
Hi there,
I no longer can access an old wordpress account to delete that website which is taking up space on google ranking as the old email address (redacted) is defunct. This means that I can not log in to delete the old website as I can’t access the email when I request to change the password.
Can wordpress help me delete this old account and the RedHatMusic website I made with it?
Thank you,
Simon Toner

Hi Simon,
Since you don’t have access to the email address associated with that account, in order to regain access to it, we’ll need one of the following things:
* A transaction ID for any upgrades purchased for the account
https://en.support.wordpress.com/transaction-id/
* The WordPress.com account activation link, which we sent to your email address when you first registered with us.
For more information please read our Account Recovery guide:

I think both of those things would require me to access my old email account (email visible only to moderators and staff), the server for this email is no longer in service. Is there any other way I can get the Red Hat Music website taken down? It is taking away the google ranking from my current site.

Hi Simon –
I’ve sent a note your way via email (the address on this account, not the defunct one). Write back to me there. Thanks :)
