Deleting Old WordPress.com site

    A year ago I transferred my blog to a self-hosted site. I am now using WordPress.org. Problem is, my website is still a wordpress.com site, yet I cannot get to the WordPress.com dashboard to cancel the old WordPress.com site.

    I am now having problems with my WordPress Stats that is connected to my self-hosted site, I suppose since there was a cancellation to my domain transfer with WordPress.com

    Could you please tell me how I can get to my wordpress.com dashboard. Everytime I try, I end up in only my WordPress.org dashboard. Any assistance you can give me would be appreciated.

    Hi there – you should normally be able to log into your WordPress.com administration area from this screen:

    http://fidlerspolitics.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

    Or, you could also get to the WordPress.com dashboard by signing in here:

    http://wordpress.com/

    Keep in mind that your WordPress.com password is different (usually) from the password you use on your self-hosted site, and your username may be different as well.
