Deleting pictures in media library = missing pics from posts?

  Hello,

  I realized a little too late that I should be resizing the images to put on my blog. I noticed after only 5 posts I was using 7-8% of my space. I’m realizing now that’s from my media library. My question is:

  If I delete the images from my media library, will I get an “image not found”/deleted image on my published posts? I’m trying to keep as much free memory as possible since my blog is/will be very image-heavy.

  If they’ve been used in a Post or Page, then yes.

  Best thing you can do to maximize your 3GB free space is to optimize your images prior to uploading them. This will save your space, preserve the clarity of the image and reduce page loading time. So, win-win-win.
