Deleting Site
-
I’m trying to delete my site and it’s saying there are premium upgrades active. I’ve deleted all of them but under premium upgrades it still shows my theme which was a one time purchase and I don’t see how to delete that. It won’t let me delete the site since it is still registering that a premium upgrade is active. Any ideas?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @janstebbins, did you want to forfeit the upgrade? If you’re planning to just start over, let us know so we could take appropriate action.
You could also make the site private, and thus keep the premium theme available in case you want it again later.
We can remove the theme for you but you would permanently lose its license. Let us know what you’d like to do.

I guess it would be fine to just make the site private. I just want to avoid any confusion between this and my new site. If it’s private will it no longer be found by search engines or anything else?

That’s right. No one but those you invite will be able to view the site (well, and staff. But we won’t look at it unless we need to look to help you.)
Search engines may still index old results, but they will not be clickable, and they can fade out over time, or you can even ask Google to clear their cache:

Let’s actually just go ahead and delete, I don’t have any plans to ever go back and use the theme again so it just seems cleaner that way. Thanks!

Alright @janstebbins, I’ve removed the theme for you, so you can now delete the site here:

Do realize this will forfeit future use of that name, since the name itself will be deactivated in our system via deletion. If you intend to re-use the name, don’t delete. Cheers!
