Deleting someone else's domain
-
I would like to register a domain for my blog. (www.mybakingclub.wordpress.com) to http://www.mybakingclub.COM
The problem is, it already belongs to someone else. But if you type the website it is unavailable .
I wonder if it is possible to delete this domain from someone else that doesn’t work, so I can use it?
ThanksThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sadly, it looks like mybakingclub.com is indeed registered already:
http://who.is/whois/mybakingclub.com
Even though they may not be using the domain for a website, whoever registered it still owns it and it cannot be deleted.
FWIW, my personal suggestion would be just to use something like my-baking-club.com or perhaps even itsmybakingclub.com.

Thank You for the answer Josh.
That is very sad, but dashes I think it makes so complicated to type it in for a blog.
I think I will just use .NET. Will that sound to bad? http://www.mybakingclub.net? if there is really a big difference between NET and COM -
It is my opinion that net is just as legitimate for most people as com. Ask yourself, would you think any differently of a site with one vs the other? I think for most people, it’s just an address. Main St vs First Ave. You know?
