deleting this site

    I started a site to replace another site that I have under a different email address. I changed my mind and decided to change the domain name and content on the other site instead, and delete this one that I just started. I noticed that the fine print says that I will lose ‘all of my sites’ if I delete this new one. This may sound like a stupid question but I want to be sure: Is my other site safe since it is under a completely different email?

    Hi there,

    If you delete a site, you only lose that one site.

    It sounds like instead you’re looking at the confirmation screen to delete your username account. If you delete your account, you’ll also lose all sites that belong to this account.

    But if you have a site in a different account, nothing you do in this account can possibly affect that other site, as different accounts you own aren’t linked in any way.
