Deleting Website

  Hello I do not have access to my old account anymore (cakesweat) because I deleted my blog and my email address associated with it. I would like for it to be shut down as I am a teacher and no longer want my content made public. Unfortunately I do not think I have any of the three options to recover my account because I deleted the username but the website (cakesweatdotcom.wordpress.com) is still up. If you could please contact me as soon as possible it would be appreciated. Thank you!

  Hi there,

  I am tagging modlook to this post, someone from staff will check the status and get back to you on this. When you delete your WordPress.com account the sites connected to that account are usually deleted which are associated with that account.

  I deleted the username but the website (cakesweatdotcom.wordpress.com) is still up.

  cakesweatdotcom.wordpress.com is owned by cakesweat and that account is still active. There hasn’t been activity in some time, so it sounds like you may have deleted a different account.

  If the email address is no longer use, you will need to fill out the Account Recovery form in order to recover the account:

  Recover Your Account

  For security reasons, we won’t be able to help you recover the account without that information.

  Hi,

  I don’t have any of the three options as I deleted the email that was associated with this username. Are there any other options? Like I said I’d really like this removed due to my professional career at this point. Is there some way to prove to you that I am the person on that blog? My pictures and information are on the blog.
