Deleting website, I need to cancel the domain first.

  I’ve moved hosts, and got a new domain. I’d like to cancel my current domain and delete my website. I seem to be unable to delete my website until I close my domain. and I can’t seem to close my domain without contacting you folks.

  I’d just like to confirm that you’re attempting to cancel the domain affinityphotography.me. I can do that for you, however you should be aware that canceling a domain means you completely give up ownership of the domain. There is no guarantee the domain will become available to re-register after cancellation.

  You are welcome to keep your domain with us and update the name servers to point to another hosting provider by following this guide:

  Hi there,

  I’ve just canceled your domain affinityphotography.me, as requested.

  The domain itself will get sent back to the registrar. The registrar will decide when to release it back to the open market, which is not guaranteed, but which usually happens within a few days.
