  I have removed the domain from my sites. Can I keep the sites in case I want to reactivate in the future or do I need to delete them entirely to get them off Google?

  Great question! Yes, you can keep the site. Do not delete it if there’s any chance you want to use it again in the future.

  All you have to do is make one little change to the privacy settings. This will hide the site from the internet, no one can view or load it.
