Demo contents load on the articles page
-
With the Amulet theme I tried to dedicate a page to articles (like a blog) but alas that page, once selected as the page where articles appear, only loads the demo content of the theme. Word has it this is a recurring bug with some themes. For the time being I just gave up on the idea of having a such a blog page…Are the Happy Engineers working on this to fix it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @lesalut,
I checked your site and confirmed that this is an issue with the Amulet theme’s Home template, not something you configured incorrectly.
When a page is selected as the posts page, WordPress uses the theme’s Home template to display it. In Amulet, that template currently contains the theme’s ecommerce demonstration sections instead of a list of posts, which is why the demo layout appears.
As a workaround, you can leave the posts page unselected under Settings → Reading, create a regular page named Articles, and add a Query Loop block to that page. Configure the block to display Posts, publish the page, and add it to your menu.
Another option is to open Appearance → Editor → Design → Templates → Home, remove the demonstration sections, and add a Query Loop there. You can then select Articles as your posts page again.
One additional note: your site does not currently appear to have any published Posts. You’ll need to publish articles through Posts → Add New for them to appear in the Query Loop.
Let me know if you have any questions or if any of the steps need further clarification.

This usually means demo/sample data is still active
You may need to remove demo content, reset the page settings, or check theme/plugin configurations so only your real articles display. -
@michaelmedahunsi hello, I’ve tried the first workaround but how do I configure “add a Query Loop block to that page. Configure the block to display Posts” The only option I see is “start from scratch”

@michaelmedahunsi I’ve also tried the second option, managed to delete all the demo stuff that was displayed in that template but couldn’t add a query loop
I’m giving up on this, it’s already been hours tinkering about to get something a bit sleek, I don’t want to break the whole site… well, I’ll plie up news on a special page but well, subscribers won’t receive anything. Not WordPress fault, the people from Amulet should have delat with tha issue

Hi @lesalut,
I know you’ve already spent a lot of time trying to set this up, so I made a short video showing you exactly how to add and configure the Query Loop block.
I’ve followed up with you by email and included the video there. Please check your inbox, as well as your spam or junk folder, in case it landed there.
Cheers!
