  Hi, I’m a developer and wanted to know do I create a regular account on WordPress as a developer if I wanted to access and make changes to potential clients starting a new website or already have a WordPress website.
  An example of what I am asking is on Shopify, there is a partners.Shopify.com website used for developers instead of signing in to Shopify.com.

  With my current WordPress account will I be able to have admin privileges to clients WordPress websites?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hello there,

  Happy to help you with this.

  With WordPress.com you would need to have you’re own WordPress.com account, and the client/website owner would need to invite you as an admin to work on their site.
