hello, I purchased a domain from WordPress although I did not renew the domain I cannot find it again to buy it while at the same time google finds old links which do not work, and nothing comes up in the url indicating that its possible that no one else has re purchased it, although when searching on WordPress or other domain hosting sites it says it is not available. I wanted to repurchais it as now my work email has stopped working due to the domain not being active. Many thanks

Domain expiration is a lengthy and complicated process that takes about 80 days. During this time, your domain may be put up for auction or sold on back-order.

The good news is that we may still be able to recover your domain if it has not yet been deleted or purchased by someone else. A late renewal fee of $80 will be added to the regular price of renewal. This fee is charged by the domain registry and is not one that we can waive.
The total price will be $98, which is $18 for the regular renewal, plus the $80 late renewal fee. If you do not wish to pay the $80 fee, you may let the domain expiration process continue and attempt to register the domain again at the regular price, once it has completely expired.
Please note that someone else may purchase the domain first, in which case you will be unable to register it again.
