difference between using beaverbuilder and getting an account directly with wordpress

I am confused on if I need to have an account with wordpress and beaverbuilder or can I do everything I need with just a wordpress account?
I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

Beaverbuilder and wordpress.com are two completely different things. beaverbuilder is a plugin for wordpress, as the wordpress.com platform offers hosting.
If you want to use beaverbuilder on the wordpress.com platform, you must upgrade to the Business Plan, https://wordpress.com/pricing/.
However you really don’t need beaverbuilder. Or own editor – https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/ – offers almost the same possibilities but produces neater and lighter code, resulting in a smoother and faster site?
