difficulties

Good Afternoon. I recently was helping a company with the renovating of their website but I happen to hit a few hitches and haven’t been able to move forward. They are currently working with a 3.0 WordPress version and when I tried updating, it told me that the WordPress was up to date even when clearly there is even a version 5.0. I cannot also view the plugin list, neither can I deactivate or reactivate the plugins. so I need to know exactly what I need to do to rectify the issues

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi –

Since they are using the open source WordPress software we don’t have access to the site. That’s a different version of WordPress compared to what we are doing here at WordPress.com.

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

Help with that site is going to come from https://wordpress.org/support/ or through the site’s hosting provider.

You might be able to do a manual update with these steps:

I’m not sure I fully understand but actually, the site I need help updating is valeciastone.com it’s working with a WordPress 3.0 version…NOT wordlyliving.wordpress.com. i don’t know if the further explanation helps. Thanks so much for your time

    Hi
I’m not sure I fully understand, but the site I actually need help with isn’t wordlyliving.wordpress.com but actually valeciastone.com is it possible for the site to be looked at? it currently is working with a version 3.0 and it keeps on saying it is up to date when clearly its not.
