difficulty logging in to account

  i own a domain name that i access through wordpress and have received an email reminder to renew it in april, so i KNOW the email address connected to the domain name is correct. but when i try to sign into wordpress, it prompts me to log in through a link over the same email. the link signs me into a really old wordpress account i haven’t used in 10+ years. i’m trying to log in to the domain name account but there doesn’t seem to be an option for it? what is happening?

  2 wordpress.com accounts can’t have the same email address as the email address is the unique identifier.

  You must log in using the email address where you got the reminder

  i did that and it logged me into this account, which is the old account.

  is there a way to look up an email associated with the domain name account?
