disable the two factor authentication

  I have lost my previous device and i want to first disable the two factor authentication and then i want to add new device but while disabling it only asks for verification code from the app which i don’t have because i lost that phone, so please tell me how to resolve this issue or how to go forward.

  That’s the moment you must use one of the backup codes you got when you set up 2 FA and you were supposed to print out and/or keep them on a safe place.
