  Hello – I currently direct my wordpress blog to a domain I have bought and wish to no longer do this. How can I keep my blog as a wordpress URL so that I can use my purchased domain for another site?

  Hi there, there are a few possible ways to point your custom domain to another site:

  – If it’s another WordPress.com site, let me know the address and I can make the update for you.
  – If it’s a site for which you have your own hosting, you can ask your host what the name servers are and then log into your domain manager and update the name servers there.
  – If it’s a site with a host that doesn’t provide name servers, ask them what the necessary domain name records are and we can help you make the updates.

  Once the name server updates are made and have fully propagated, you can then set meadcameron.wordpress.com as the primary domain under Store > Upgrades:

  https://meadcameron.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains
