Disabling a whole category of postings

    I’m looking for a quick/easy way to temporarily “turn off” a large number of postings on my blog. All of these are grouped under a specific “Category”. So it would be great if I could somehow make all postings under this category somehow no longer viewable. The only work-around I know of is to edit each posting and flip it to “Draft”. Looking for a cleaner way to do this. Any suggestions appreciated!

    @nateholt – an off the subject observation about your blog – it loads like a pig with all the large images – please consider using the More Tag to shorten the amount of a Post that is displayed on the front page – no need to make repeat visitors wait for stuff to load that they have already seen – a waste of bandwidth and to many a major turn off and a large reason that people don’t visit sites.

    On your original subject I think you are stuck with Draft, but maybe one of the others here has some sort of workaround. I don’t remember a way to exclude things.
