Disabling comments on pages

  I’ve followed the instructions in the support documents and still can’t get the comments and like sections of my static pages to disappear. What do I do now?

  Hi there,

  To disable comments and likes on existing pages on your site, you’ll need to use the page editor to turn them off on each page. We have instructions for doing that here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/#enabledisable-comments

  First, go to Pages > All Pages in your dashboard. Click on the title of a page you want to edit.

  You’ll need to make sure the Discussion module and the Likes and Shares module are visible in your post editor. If they aren’t, you can go to Screen Options at the top of the page. Check the boxes next to Discussion and Likes and Shares.

  Then, scroll down to the Discussion module, and uncheck the box next to “Allow comments.” Scroll to the Likes and Share module, and uncheck the box next to “Show likes.”

  That will disable both comments and likes on your pages. Please let me know if you’d like further help with that!
